My name is Conrad Farnsworth. I’m an electrical engineer working for Los Alamos National Laboratory. This blog is a living portfolio of all of my work thus far.
Here’s a bit of my history:
- 2011: First person in the state of Wyoming to build a fusion device
- 2012: Featured in the Casper Star Tribune for my work
- 2013: ISEF participant (disqualified on a technicality)
- 2013: Interned at the Sanford Underground Research Facility
- 2014: Worked under Dr. Charles Tolle Designing SysID Experiments
- 2015: Another Summer with Dr. Tolle Building a Multispectral Imager
- 2016-Present: LANL working on High Explosive Magnetic Flux Compression Generators
